Morgan FreemanYou know who won, who lost, and who host Ricky Gervais mocked without mercy. We've tracked down some answers to the other questions you might have after watching the 2012 Golden Globe Awards.
Why was Morgan Freeman wearing a glove?
Freeman was given the Cecil B. DeMille Memorial Award for his distinguished career. During his acceptance speech, viewers couldn't help but notice Freeman's black glove. The actor's been wearing the glove in public for several years, ever since he injured his hand during a serious 2008 car accident. Madonna was also spotted onstage wearing a lone green glove, which was a fashion flashback for the material girl.

Why couldn't anybody read?
Several stars seemed to have trouble reading while up on stage. Early in the show, Julianne Moore and Rob Lowe could do nothing but grin while the teleprompter apparently malfunctioned. Mercifully, somebody finally handed them a piece of paper. Later, Meryl Streep, who won for "The Iron Lady," had troubles of her own. But that was due to her forgetting to bring her glasses on stage. Ever the pro, Streep spoke off the cuff and did so beautifully.
Where was Ryan Gosling?
The double-nominee ("Crazy, Stupid, Love" and "The Ides of March") wasn't in attendance. What, is he just too darn cool for these award shows? Not exactly. In the press room after the show, Clooney said that his "Ides" co-star was in Thailand working. That matches up with a People magazine report speculating that Gosling was in Bangkok filming "Only God Forgives," a mixed martial arts movie by "Drive" director Nicolas Winding Refn.

Simply put, she helps to hand out the awards to winners. Previous Miss Golden Globes include Melanie Griffith and Rumer Willis.
Who is the 'Busy' that Michelle Williams thanked?
Michelle Williams won a Golden Globe for her work in "My Week with Marilyn." During her sweet acceptance speech, Williams thanked her daughter and then thanked somebody named "Busy." That would be "Cougar Town" actress Busy Phillips, Williams's friend and constant awards show date.

What's the name of that cute little dog?
"The Artist" won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical. When the cast and crew took the stage, a furry four-legged creature nearly stole the show. Uggie the dog has a significant role in the acclaimed film. Uggie also appeared in "Water for Elephants."
