Uma and daughter. (Splash News)Forget a magazine spread or Twitpic — Uma Thurman showed the world her adorable newborn daughter by just stepping outside with her. On Friday, the "Smash" actress cradled the little one — whose name is not yet publicly known — in her arms as they exited a New York City building following a doctor's appointment. Not much else is known about the sleeping beauty, who was born on July 15.
This is the first child for Thurman, 42, and her boyfriend Arpad Busson, 49, who both have two children from previous relationships. The actress has daughter Maya, 13, and son Levon, 10, with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, and the financier shares sons Flynn, 14, and Cy, 9, with supermodel Elle MacPherson.
Thurman and Busson called off their engagement in 2009 after two years together, but rekindled the flame in 2011 — only to get pregnant soon after. Although the news was a surprise, a source told Us Weekly at the time, "she's over the moon about it. Very excited."
