Who knew Travis was so domestic?!
Showing a flair for punk style just like his dad, 7-year-old Landon rocked green-tinged hair, skinny jeans, and funky red suspenders, while his little sister, 5-year-old Alabama, went for a more Lady Gaga vibe, opting for a mini varsity jacket paired with black Converse kicks. The kids' mom is Barker' ex-wife, Playboy model Shanna Moakler.
Barker's debut solo album, Give The Drummer Some, is due to hit stores on March 15, but in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the drummer revealed that due to his 2008 small plane crash -- where he and DJ AM (who died of a drug overdose almost one year later) were the only survivors -- the album almost didn't get made.
Barker went through 16 surgeries on his road to recovery. During the process, he almost lost a foot and had a completely numb left hand for a period of time. "For a while after my accident, I was just recovering," he shared, adding, "No one really thought I would be able to play drums after all the surgeries and everything. That was always on my mind. Once I was in the studio, it was like, 'I can walk now, I can play the drums still. I have to finish this.'"
With a new Blink 182 album scheduled to be released in June, a tour during March and April, and yet another collaborative album in the works, Barker's not ready to kick back and relax any time soon. Keeping busy is important, he explained. "Playing my drums is therapy."
