Yes, Tom Cruise was spotted at trendy London nightclub Chinawhite Thursday night. But it's not because the newly divorced "Mission Impossible" star is suddenly looking to party and meet new ladies. Actually, he hit up the hot spot because he's a good dad!
Cruise's only son, Connor, an up-and-coming DJ, was tapped to spin some tunes at the club, so Papa Tom showed up to watch … and listen. The 17-year-old (who Cruise adopted with second wife Nicole Kidman) has been getting plenty of DJ experience in the States, working gigs last month at a Comic-Con party in San Diego and a fashion event in New York, but this was his first time working across the pond.
The evening turned into a family affair with Connor's sister, 19-year-old Isabella, also coming out to support her brother. According to reports, Cruise instructed staffers to make sure no alcohol made its way in or around the DJ booth since the legal drinking age in England is 18, a year older than Connor.
"@chinawhiteclub Thank you!! Last night was so much fun, what a great crowd and great venue!! #MuchLove," Connor, whose DJ name is DJ C-Squared, tweeted on Friday. The teen is apparently in high-demand and has more European jobs lined up, including an event in Zurich next.

After the set, Cruise sneaked out of the club via a back entrance, cutting through a souvenir shop in order to get out to the street. Connor, Isabella, and some friends were spotted leaving later via taxi. The actor is currently in the U.K. shooting his upcoming film "All You Need is Kill," and has received non-stop media coverage over the past two months since his wife of nearly six years Katie Holmes filed for divorce in late June, reportedly blindsiding the star. On Wednesday however, he got a piece of good news when a judge ruled that Holmes will not receive support from her ex, per their prenuptial agreement. He will, however, pay $400,000 a year in child support for the care of their 6-year-old daughter Suri, of whom Holmes was granted sole custody.
