    Parenthood can be chaotic, but when you add a new baby into the mix things can go from a whirlwind to a tailspin! Although celebrity moms like Nicole Richie and Tori Spelling make juggling a toddler and a baby at the same time look easy, it's not. On this episode of "Spotlight to Nightlight," host Ali Landry talks to Nicole Sullivan ("MAD TV," "Rita Rocks!") about handling the big adjustment of going from one to two kids, and having to learn everything all over again!



    Ali's Take
    I loved having this conversation with Nicole because my husband and I are contemplating expanding our family. I know that I'm not getting any younger and if we want more than two children, we need to get on the ball! Nicole really helped me put things into perspective. Things have gotten so easy now that Estela is getting older and more independent. That's why I'm a little nervous to start all over again with a brand new baby. When I think of transitioning from one to two kids, it seems overwhelming and I have so many questions. How do you divide your time? How will your toddler respond to the new baby? If your husband thinks that he is getting the short end of the stick now, what's going to happen when you have two kids? What Nicole suggested seems like the only way to handle it and stay sane. She said to not panic and just take it one day at a time; put one foot in front of the other. All of the little things that we worry about will become such non-issues when we welcome that brand new addition to the family. I guess somehow it will all just work itself out. I am counting on that, Nicole!
