Snooki: I’m afraid if I drink the baby will ‘come out with three legs’

She may be back on the "Jersey Shore," but pregnant Snooki is not returning to her usual party-girl habits. The reality star revealed in a new interview with "Good Morning America" on Monday that she has not had a sip of alcohol since discovering she was pregnant in January — even though she certainly is being tempted. "My friends were like, 'You can have a glass of wine' and I'm like no, I refuse," Snooki tells ABC's Juju Chang. "I'm going to be that person who has a glass of wine and [the baby] comes out with three legs." She's so overly cautious that she's not even staying in the "Jersey Shore" house with her castmates during the taping of the sixth, and likely final, season. Instead, she and fiancé Jionni LaValle are living in a crib next door. "I just don't like to be around people who drink, because then I'll be like, 'Cool, I miss it,'" notes Snooki, who's also staying away from caffeine.

Another favorite of hers that she's missing? Spray tanning. But the 24-year-old is learning to manage. "I use bronzer on my legs," she says. "I'm actually embracing the paleness that's coming along with it. It's kind of a new look." But just because she's given up her beloved booze and tanning doesn't mean Snooki is going to deprive herself of everything she loves. The 4-foot, 9-inch star is still rocking high heels because "I feel confident in them," she insists. "And I know I'm not going to fall, so until it feels very uncomfortable. I'm only 24 and I'm pregnant — it doesn't mean I need to be wearing flats and ugly shoes. I can still look good."

During the "GMA" segment, which was filmed in a New York City baby store, Snooki was asked her thoughts on the controversial "attachment parenting" and the Time cover of a mother breastfeeding her 4-year-old son. "That freaks me out," she says after Chang shows her the magazine. And when she learns how old the boy is, she adds, "That's pushing it." Still, Snooki does plan to breastfeed her own son, just not the old-fashioned way. "I definitely want to pump because it's the best nutrients for your baby … it's kind of like you're a cow and you just milk it."

When her son, who the couple have nicknamed "ShortNTan," and her other future children get older and see their mother's "Jersey Shore" antics, will they be just as equally embarrassed? "I'm just going to show them myself and say, 'This is what Mommy did, learn from her mistakes,'" Snooki says. "And they can take it or leave it."

The day before Snooki's "GMA" interview, her BFF and fellow "meatball" Deena Cortese was arrested on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, after a day of boozing and crying. The reason? Snooki. According to Wetpaint, Cortese fled the "Jersey Shore" house in the middle of the afternoon and headed straight to a bar alone, where she was witnessed crying over the loss of her fellow "meatball"/party partner Snooki now that she's preparing to be a mother and wife. "She was laughing at first, but pretty soon she started crying that she had no meatball," a source tells the site about Cortese. "She said she was looking for a new meatball. She started asking random people at the bar, including one guy, if they would be her meatball for the day."

Eventually, castmates Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro showed up and tried to take her home, but Cortese "was running around the bar to get away from him," adds the source. Then she bolted from the bar onto the boardwalk, where she began hitting passing cars on the street, and "that's when the arrest took place." The entire "Jersey Shore" cast, including Snooki, who was also arrested for public intoxication in 2010, showed up to bail her out, but were turned away. A little while later, Cortese's parents showed up and brought their daughter back to the shore house. We're sure they were very proud.

Cortese's arrest capped off a raucous weekend for the "Jersey Shore" cast. On Friday night, Ortiz-Magro, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, and her boyfriend Rodger Matthews were all involved in a massive brawl at Bamboo Bar. After a few patrons started teasing the reality stars, a "small fight" broke out, but then it quickly snowballed. "Jenni's boyfriend beat up a few guys, Pauly knocked some guy out, [and] Ronnie [and] Sitch were all there as well, fighting off guys," a source told Us Weekly. "Jenni sprained her ankle. It was rough."
