Jessica Simpson may have received a lot of attention for her appearance on "Katie" yesterday -- she debuted her post-baby body -- but she wasn't the only celebrity guest on the premiere episode of Katie Couric's talk show. Sheryl Crow was also there -- she wrote the theme song for the new show -- and brought along two special guests: her rarely seen sons.
The single mom, who turned 50 earlier this year, traveled from Nashville to the Big Apple with her boys -- Wyatt, 5, and Levi, 2 -- to appear on the show. Her sons, both of whom Crow adopted, seemed to enjoy themselves behind-the-scenes on the set, smiling for the cameras and posing for photos with Couric.
During her interview, Crow opened up about motherhood. "It's made me really tired," she said. "I don't have the drive I used to have." However, she noted, "I feel like I'm seeing the world again in a more innocent way. These two little boys are experiencing life for the first time everywhere they turn."

"It was definitely a sobering moment, especially because I have a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old," said Crow, who is also a breast cancer survivor. And the singer has her own suspicions about what caused the tumor: her cell phone. "No doctors will confirm that, [but] I do have the theory that it's possible that it's related to that. I [used to spend] hours on the old archaic cell phones."
Crow said the tumor -- which is the size of her pinky finger and located in what she described as her "cell phone area" -- was discovered when she started having trouble with words and forgetting lyrics onstage. "I depend on words -- they're important for my work," she said. Worried she had early-onset Alzheimer's, she consulted her doctor, who told her that her memory lapses were likely just a byproduct of having two young sons. Two years later, a specialist discovered the tumor. "I was, like, 'See? I knew there was something wrong.' I haven't really talked about it. But it's benign, so I don't have to worry about it."
After the show, Crow hit the city streets with her boys. And although she said motherhood has made her tired, you couldn't tell at all.
