The actor hit the New York City streets on Sunday with his wife, Luciana, and their brood. Trying to go incognito in a beige baseball cap, Damon was on stroller duty, pushing youngest daughters — Stella, nearly 2, and Gia, 4. The older girls — Isabella, 6, and Damon's stepdaughter, Alexia, 14 — held hands as they walked next to their mother.
The Damon family destination was a playground in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan. While enjoying the early fall day, the 41-year-old actor kept an eye on Stella and Gia, who were on the swings. He pushed both girls, who were facing each other, at the same time. They made lots of happy faces while playing — as did dad.

Damon, who married Luciana in 2005, has said he loves raising his daughters in the Big Apple. "One of the reasons we live in New York is because, without having to explain things to the girls, they can walk around the streets and just by looking around them see that the world is composed of all different people from different walks of life, different languages, and different socio-economic backgrounds," the Massachusetts native told The Guardian earlier this year. "They pick it up through osmosis. Eventually I plan to take them on some of the trips that I go on to developing countries. That's what my mother did with me when I was a teenager."
But make no mistake — having four children is difficult … even for a wealthy movie star. "Being a parent, as any parent knows, is a lot of work," he told the paper. "[Our eldest daughter Alexia] is terrific — she's a big help. But with the other kids, it's just non-stop. We like to do a lot of the family stuff together, particularly when we get them to school in the mornings. It starts at 6:30 a.m. Once you get them off to school there's always a sigh of relief. Then we have one hour where we can go and get a cup of coffee together."
Do they talk about having more babies during their coffee dates? Nope! Damon has said that they're done having kids, and are happy being a party of six. "The way I feel about my family wasn't something I expected," he told The Guardian. "I knew I was going to love being a father and a husband. People who were already parents would tell me: 'It's great!' 'It's wonderful!' But I don't think you can really appreciate it until you experience it for yourself. It's really quite something."
