Mark Wahlberg accompanies daughter Ella to her soccer game. LAX/X17online.com Now that Boston boy Mark Wahlberg is all grown up and a top player in Hollywood (he's an Academy Award nominee and produces such shows as HBO's "Entourage" and "In Treatment"), it's hard to believe that he was once a jailed criminal. Wahlberg was a serious bad boy with a drug problem. At 16, he was even charged with attempted murder! Fortunately, the Calvin Klein underwear model turned his life around, using his street thug reputation to build a music career as rapper Marky Mark, which eventually lead to him becoming a movie star.
Wahlberg's still a little rough around the edges, but he's definitely softened. The 37-year-old actor is a family man who is planning to wed Rhea Durman, the mother of his three children, Ella (4), Michael (2), and 1-month-old Brendan, in 2009. Even though he told USA Today that he's busier than ever -- he recently finished filming "The Lovely Bones" and has been promoting his latest film "Max Payne" -- Mark made time to attend his daughter's soccer game over the weekend. Judging from the pics, Ella's got daddy wrapped around her little finger.
