    Madonna and her 2-year-old son David brave the bad weather at Yankee Stadium. Anthony J. Causi/Splash News The ballpark is one of the last places I'd expect to see Madonna, but that's exactly where she was this past weekend. The "Material Mom" took her kids Lourdes (11), Rocco (7), and David (2) to see the New York Yankees beat the Cincinnatti Reds 4-1 in historic Yankee Stadium on Sunday.

    Although Guy Ritchie was unable to attend, it's cool that his children got to experience a game in the 85-year-old Bronx "Cathedral," which is set to be demolished in 2009. In spite of getting caught in a sixth-inning downpour, it looks like the pop star and her brood had fun. Perhaps the next time Madge is in the mood for a ballgame she will fly the family to Michigan so she can root for her real home team - the Detroit Tigers!

    I think she only adopted for publicity...or maybe she did wanted to adopt, publicity or not. The kid looks happy & healthy & is taking care of. He's in a better place now.

    As for adopting David, good for her that she can welcome a child of any color or race, who is not hers into her home and give him a better life than what he had. Lets not forget the child's mother and siblings were all dead, and while his father may have loved the boy he could not provide for him. What the father did was the ultimate act of love, letting him go so he will be better cared

    She went to the ballpark because she wanted to spend time with her children and let them exerience a baseball game, just like any other normal parent. She can't always shield herself from cameras, or let them dictate what she does or doesn't so with her kids. So if that is stupid then I am stupid too, because I take my kids to baseball games, oh and hockey games too. . .

    Maybe she wanted to go watch a ball game and that is why she went to the ball park.. Duh.. As for her adopting David... I see nothing wrong with it. He looks happy and healthy.
