"[Jessica] definitely is pregnant again and it was completely unplanned," a source close to Jessica tells omg!. "She and Eric were surprised, but are really happy."
Us Weekly first broke the news that Simpson is expecting her second child last month.
Guess who else was surprised? Weight Watchers. Jessica is a spokeswoman for the company, signing a deal earlier this year reportedly worth $4 million dollars.
Simpson, 32, gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1. In a brand new ad that will start airing next week, the “Fashion Star” judge boasts that she lost 50 lbs. of her pregnancy weight through Weight Watchers' methods.

Weight Watchers previewed the new ad with still photos released Wednesday morning. The ad was shot in the California desert in late November.
So, what about the question that everyone's been wondering... how will Jessica and Weight Watchers deal with the unexpected news? "Jessica was unhealthy the first time around, eating whatever she wanted, so now she plans to take a different approach,” omg!'s source continues.
And what will happen with her Weight Watchers deal?
"Maybe she could be the spokesperson about how to be healthy and stay fit while pregnant,” the source theorizes. “That's one idea, but it’s certainly not official."
This certainly sounds like a great idea to us!
omg! reached out to a rep for Simpson who replied simply that, “there has been no confirmation” that Jessica is pregnant again.
