"It's a really great script and I'm having a lot of fun," the actress said in March of the Disney movie, which will be a reimagining of "Sleeping Beauty" from the perspective of the villainess. "My kids are very happy." And so is Jolie. The iconic fairytale "is not anti-princess, but it's the first time they're looking at this epic woman [in a different way]," she explained. "I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn't mean she can't have other [warmer] qualities. "Maleficent," which will be in 3-D, also stars Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora and Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville as the three fairies, and is expected to hit theaters in March 2014.
