Amy Adams: ‘I Have a Muffin Top’

Actress Amy Adams' life has completely changed since giving birth to her only child, 18-month-old Aviana. As she tells InStyle, it's often been a challenge, but it comes along with plenty of rewards, not the least of which is her bouncing baby girl.

"I'm definitely not one of those women who make it look easy," the star of upcoming movie "The Muppets" reveals. "I'm always running late -- and look, there's guacamole on my purse! But I'm more patient than I ever thought I would be, and I'm not hard on myself anymore."

One of the things Amy, 37, has allowed herself is plenty of time to get back in shape after the pregnancy -- something that would make most celeb moms shudder. "I read about these actresses who get on a stationary bike two weeks after giving birth and I'm like, 'What? Where did you push your baby out of?' Since having Aviana, I have a muffin top, and that's OK right now."

Try On Amy's Hairstyles

Despite her insistence that she's out of shape, Amy is hot enough to pull off a look that only a few women in Hollywood can -- red tresses. The natural strawberry blonde admits that her signature fiery locks suit her personality better, but they also come with some bad fashion advice. "In the past, people have told me that redheads shouldn't wear red," she explains. "I think that's silly. The combination is very vibrant."
