Taylor Lautner hits the beach in the December issue of Rolling Stone.

As everyone knows, Taylor Lautner packed on 30 pounds of muscle to land the role of Jacob Black in "New Moon," but the 17-year-old reveals in the new issue of Rolling Stone that he wasn't always so buff. In fact, he used to get bullied.
"I was never extremely confident," he confesses. "Because I was an actor, when I was in school there was a little bullying going on. Not physical bullying but people making fun of what I do. ... I just had to tell myself I can't let this get to me. This is what I love to do. And I'm going to continue to do it."

Fortunately for "Twilight" fans, he did, but Lautner never imagined in his wildest dreams that the first film in the vampire saga would be such a smash hit.

Apparently, he had a feeling there would be a sequel and read all the books.
"I admit proudly that I enjoyed the series," he laughs. "I was not a book reader at all. But then when I read them, they hook you. I feel like each book, and more so the movies, are just getting more exciting and better and better. With 'New Moon,' you know, it's not just the love story between these two anymore. Now there are three people, and it's dangerous."
Speaking of love stories, when Lautner is asked if he's dating Taylor Swift, the teen heartthrob plays it coy and says, "Possibly," adding that he and the country cutie "instantly clicked" while filming "Valentine's Day."
"She's an amazing girl," he gushes. "Aside from being beautiful, she's extremely funny, charismatic, and fun to be around, so we definitely got along. We're close."

If the Taylors are indeed a couple, you won't spot the duo going out for sushi. Kristen Stewart claims that she was the first person to get "picky" Lautner to try sushi, but he calls it "disgusting" and notes that he is more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy.
"Everybody tries to get me to go outside of my comfort zone with food, but I stick to what I like," he asserts. "I start with my Caesar salad, then get my steak, a side of garlic mashed potatoes and maybe some asparagus. And I'm fine with that every single night."
