SPW/Splash NewsSelena Gomez had one sweet 20th birthday on Sunday! The singer/actress began her afternoon by attending the Teen Choice Awards 2012 at the Gibson Ampitheater in Universal City, California, where she hit the red carpet in a hot pink Dsquared 2 halter dress, Herve Leger strappy sandals, and some tasteful diamonds. Gomez, who sat in the front row with her pop star boyfriend Justin Bieber, also made an appearance onstage. The brunette beauty picked up a surfboard when her group Selena Gomez & the Scene won Choice Music Group. After Gomez was presented with the award from "The Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev and "Think Like a Man" actor Kevin Hart, she was presented with cupcakes from the Beverly Hills-based Sprinkles bakery and serenaded by the audience in a rendition of "Happy Birthday to You." At one point, the camera focused on Gomez's gal pal, Taylor Swift, as she joined in on the song.

Following the big broadcast, Gomez was treated to a night out with her guy. She and Bieber, along with some friends, reportedly took his $150,000 custom mini-bus to Beverly Hill's swanky eatery Il Cielo, which boasts on its website that it's "rated Los Angeles' most romantic restaurant." Gomez was even seen carrying a bouquet of pink roses to match her dress. I'm impressed, Bieber! (The "Boyfriend" singer was probably in an extra good mood, because he left the Teen Choice Awards with surfboards for Choice Summer Music Star: Male, Choice Single by a Male Artist for "Boyfriend," Choice Love Song for "Die in Your Arms," and — the big one — Choice Male Artist.)
Thanks to her fans and Bieber, Gomez has an excellent time on her special day. "Beyond blessed, so much love," she wrote on Facebook Monday morning. "Thank you for the most incredible birthday yet! I'm truly, truly grateful. I love my family, friends and all of you."
