Report: The Jonas Brothers Are Filming a Reality Show

Let's face it, guys: The Jonas Brothers as a group have been fading into pop culture obscurity for a while now. Their last album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, was released almost three years ago, and their show, "Jonas L.A.," was cancelled by the Disney Channel in 2010. While the guys have their own projects going on — Nick currently stars in Broadway's "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," Joe released solo album Fastlife in October, and Kevin's enjoying life as a newlywed with wife Danielle Deleasa — their time as a trio seems to have passed, like 98 Degrees, LFO, and many others before them. Fortunately for fans, the New York Post's Page Six reports that the brothers have landed what every celeb needs to return to the spotlight today: a reality show. The JoBros have a development deal with E! and are already filming a "family reality show," according to sources who spoke with the newspaper.

While reps for the network and the Jonas Brothers remain mum, the timing would be perfect. Joe confirmed to MTV last month that the group is currently recording a new album that will be released soon. "We want to be able to do things this year," Joe said. "We have plans that nobody really knows about yet, performances that are already lined up and we have music already recorded too ... our [aim] is probably close to the end of the year or next year." There's nothing like a TV show to advertise a new product!

And the JoBros certainly wouldn't be the first musical act to star in their own unscripted program. The Osbournes, Bret Michaels, Rev Run, Toni Braxton, Mel B, Vanilla Ice, and countless others have all spent time on the small screen.
