(AKM-GSI)It seems like it was just yesterday that the legendary Michael Jackson died at age 50, but it was three years ago today (on June 25) that the King of Pop passed away. Jackson's 14-year-old daughter Paris remembered her father Monday morning by posting a message on Twitter: "RIP Michael Jackson .. Dad you will forever be in my heart <3 i love you." She also seemed to forgive one of her father's critics, Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, when he reached out to her on the microblogging service. Sixx posted several tweets last July referring to the 2005 child molestation trial in which Jackson was acquitted. "We're gonna attempt something thats never been done on radio on [Sirius XM satellite radio show] @sixxsense and try a seance to reach MJ.I hope hes not too busy at heavens(?) children's hospital....," he wrote. Almost a year later, the rocker was apologetic. "Hello @parisJackson.My snarky humor and sarcasm sometimes gets the best of me. I sincerely apologize to you and your family.God Bless," he tweeted. Paris responded, "thanks(: apology definitely accepted.. have a good one , god bless #RockOn." She even seemed receptive when Sixx asked her if she'd like to appear on his show.

Paris, who plans to be an actress, has long been used to life in the spotlight. The teen remembers when her father made her and her brothers Prince, now 15, and Blanket, now 10, cover their faces in public. "I was really confused, like I didn't get why I was wearing a mask," Paris told Oprah on "Oprah's Next Chapter" earlier this month. "But I understand it now, why our dad would want our face to be covered, so we went out without him, we wouldn't be recognized and we could have a normal childhood." And, just like her dad, she now loathes the paparazzi. When they took a shot of her sporting a new hairstyle with bangs this weekend, Paris seemed to send them a not-so-subtle message with her finger.
Looks like she's already a Hollywood vet!
