  • 'New Moon' Fever Hits Italy

Venturelli/WireImage.com "New Moon" anticipation is building to such a fever pitch that lately I have only two modes: about to scream and about to faint. Last week the soundtrack hit stores (how great is that Death Cab for Cutie song?!), and this week we got another trailer (Jacob vs. Edward!!!) and a heart-stopping new clip (see below)!

    Anyway, while I was gasping for breath at each new taste of "Twilight," it turns out the Italians were even more spoiled than we were. Jamie Campbell Bower, Charlie Bewley, and Cameron Bright were at this week's Rome Film Festival (which is appropriate, since they all play Volturi), where they screened -- get this -- a 20-minute preview of the movie!

    Oh ... my ... Edward. (Or have we all moved over to Team Jacob by this point?)

    And although what we've been seeing so far has been pretty tame, it sounds like "New Moon" won't pull any punches. "There is this scene where this dude gets his face torn off," Campbell Bower told Reuters, "and it was pretty fun to sit and watch that happen, to be evil and smile at it. That's my favorite scene."

    I can't wait to scream and squeal with all my fellow Twi-hards on November 20. Sounds like it'll be a bloody good time!
