Kelly Clarkson: America's first and only "Idol." - Sony BMGKelly Clarkson is back and better than ever! America's first (and best) "Idol" has made a triumphant return thanks to her new song and video, "My Life Would Suck Without You." The fist-pumping hit, from her fourth studio album "All I Ever Wanted" (in stores March 10), is just what I needed after having to endure her last effort, the unnecessarily-dark dud, "My December."
Thankfully, the dynamic duo of Dr. Luke and Max Martin -- the geniuses behind the Grammy-winning smash, "Since U Been Gone" -- were recruited to craft yet another pop gem for Kelly. And, not only is "MLWSWY" an amazing return-to-form, it's also a bona fide record breaker. Way back in '02, Kelly's "A Moment Like This" made history when it shot from #52 to #1 on Billboard's Hot 100. Well, guess which song made an even bigger jump last week? That's right ... "My Life Would Suck Without You," which stunned everyone when it skyrocketed from #97 to the top of the charts. In addition to the impressive jump, critics from coast to coast are dubbing it a masterpiece. In fact, Entertainment Weekly declared it to be "the best song in the history of the universe" ... and I couldn't agree more!
