‘Jersey Shore’s’ Vinny: Turn the Smush Room Into Snooki’s Baby Nursery

When it comes to choosing the most intelligent of the "Jersey Shore" gang - yep, I said intelligent - then my hands down pick is Vinny Guadagnino. He reportedly considered law school before the reality show and has just penned a serious memoir about overcoming his anxiety problems. So, leave it to smart guy Vinny to come up with an answer to a question fans have been asking since Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi announced she was pregnant: Just how will a baby fit in at the shore? Vinny joked to E! that the roommates will simply convert the smush room into a nursery! While Vinny was obviously kidding, I can't help but shudder at the thought of an innocent little one spending one second in the spot where the roomies bring the guys and girls they meet at the club. Ew.

Seriously, though, the comment does give an indication of just how supportive the rest of the cast has been since Snooki confirmed she and beau Jionni LaVelle are expecting and engaged. "You know, this is real," Vinny said. "We all get into our hardships with each other and petty arguments but this is real life. She is pregnant and we are there for each other … I think it is a cool thing. It was definitely a shock, but you have to adapt to whatever life throws at you."

Co-star Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola even defended Snooks when some people questioned whether the fun-loving "meatball" is ready for motherhood. "It's not like she's 16 and pregnant," Sammi said. "She's doing her thing, she's living her life, and I just think she's blessed. I can't wait to see a little guido or guidette running around. I just think it's going to be so exciting." Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's on-again, off-again love even volunteered to babysit. (Check out the funny clip MTV created about how it imagines Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio putting the baby to sleep.)

Ronnie himself explained that Snooki's already a changed woman as far as he's concerned. "She's doing really good," he told E!. "She's not drinking. She's got her act together and I'm really happy for her. Overnight, she's like this wild, crazy Snooki and now she's pregnant and engaged and growing up."
