The "X Factor" judge tweeted pics of the most recent addition to her impressive collection of ink on Sunday night, along with a photo of herself with the artist, reality star Kat Von D. "Thank you so much @thekatvond for my new ink!!" Lovato wrote of the 12 birds flying up her right forearm. "I think it's beautiful and I love it!!" The new ink sits next to a tattoo of the word "faith" that's also on her forearm (which matches the tattoo of a friend from her days in rehab last year); just below a wrist tattoo of the word "strong"; under a cross on the side of her hand ... and those are only about half of 20-year-old Lovato's permanent tattoos! Yes, people, she has a problem.
"I have to stop!" Lovato told MTV in March, when even she wasn't sure if she'd gone under the needle nine or 10 times. "I am going to be covered in tattoos! I'm so impulsive when it comes to it. For fun, me and friends are like, 'Oh, let's go get tattooed,' and we don't even know what we're getting, and it's just really stupid." Lovato singled out a tattoo of her friend's lips on her arm and one of a feather behind her ear, which she got on the back of a bus at the Warped Tour in separate years, as mistakes. She talked about regretting the inked lips again in September, and said she may consider having her body art removed in the future.

"I've thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don't know if I want to have 'rock and roll' on my middle finger," she revealed on "LIVE! With Kelly and Michael." "But I'm young and I can rock it now. When I get older, I can worry about it later." Also of note in that appearance? Lovato admitted to having not 10, but 12 tats!
If Lovato decides that she truly doesn't want any more tattoos, then Kat Von D is probably not the best person for her to hang out with…
