    • Miley Cyrus’ Salon Makeover

A day simply can't go by without Miley Cyrus making some sort of news -- even if she's just getting extensions. Yesterday, Miley showed up for her hair appointment at the B2V salon in West Hollywood with her adorable grandmother and pooch Sophie in tow. After her new long locks were secure, the "Hannah Montana" star decided to let her hair down -- literally. Check out this video of Miley getting her groove on in the salon! • Miley’s Out, Mitchel’s ‘In’

Mitchel Musso: Disney's next big star? - John Shearer/Getty ImagesAttention all "Hannah Montana" fans! One of Miley Cyrus' costars, Mitchel Musso (aka Oliver Oken), has just released a music video for his debut single, "The In Crowd." Truth be told, I was expecting a disaster. However, I was secretly impressed. Don't get me wrong; it's typical Disney fare. It's bubblegum pop cheese to the max, yet I found myself enjoying it. Oh, the shame!

In any case, I think Mitchel has an actual shot at extending his 15 minutes of fame beyond his days on the tube. He can sing, he can act, and he has rabid fans. If you happen to be one of his fans and you can't get enough of Mr. Musso -- don't fret. The 17-year-old will appear on the big screen come spring when "Hannah Montana: The Movie" premieres on April 10.

    • I Wish That I Was Jesse’s Girl

Ok, so I totally thought that Jesse McCartney was going to disappear off the face of the earth a few years ago after his hit song "Beautiful Soul" fell off the charts. Well, I can admit it; I was completely wrong. In addition to co-writing Leona Lewis' recent smash "Bleeding Love," the 21-year-old hottie has managed to give T-Pain's "Buy U A Drank" a much-needed makeover. The former star of "Summerland" popped by the Yahoo! Pepsi Smash studios a few weeks ago to record his version of the hip hop jam. Check it out! It's crazy good. Then, make sure to vote in the poll.

    • Zac Efron Fans Attack

Zac Efron is loved around the world! Case in point: the 21-year-old was mobbed by French fans while promoting his new film "17 Again" in Paris yesterday. I gotta admit that I can't wait to see the movie about a 37-year-old man (played by Matthew Perry) who isn't exactly thrilled with how life turned out for him. Fortunately, he wakes up one day to find that he is 17 again, looks like Zac Efron, and gets a chance to rewrite his life. If only!

"The whole idea of playing a 37-year-old guy as a 17-year-old was just the most exciting prospect for me," Zac told Gus Van Sant in Interview magazine. "I was really intrigued by the idea. I've always been kind of an old man, so to speak."

Apparently, what's not so intriguing to Zac is starring in yet another movie musical like "Hairspray" since the young actor recently pulled out of a remake of the Kevin Bacon classic, "Footloose." While I would have enjoyed seeing Efron bust a move on the big screen again, I guess he's trying to avoid being

    • Lauren Conrad "lets loose" in the September issue of CosmoGirl. - CosmoGirlIn the September issue of CosmoGirl, Lauren Conrad opens up about what it's like living her life in a fish bowl on "The Hills," her hit MTV reality show. While it definitely has its perks -- she has her own fashion line, her own home, and can get in to any Hollywood club she wants -- there is a downside.

"Can you imagine begin 22 and having your parents know everything about you?" she asks. "Literally, my mom can go on the Internet and find out where I went last night, who I was with ... I mean, there are no secrets!"

That's exactly why I would never want to appear on a reality program. So many of the things that happen on shows like the "Real World" would make any mom or dad cringe ... let alone grandma! And you can't really go away with seven strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives taped without telling your family, can you?

    • What’s Next on ‘The Hills’?

Mr. and Mrs. Pratt - Courtesy UsMagazine.comMonday night's pre-finale episode of "The Hills" season 4 was kind of a snooze since we already knew what was going to happen! The main events had been plastered all over the Internet and in the pages of Us Magazine for weeks: Spencer and Heidi got married in Mexico (check out the wedding photos), Whitney said buh-bye to Lauren, and Audrina did nothing interesting except hang out with Justin Bobby.

So what's left to cover in the season finale? First off, MTV is planning a long night of programming to celebrate another successful season of the hit show. Tune in Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT for the live pre-show featuring a red carpet and a recap of the most recent plots, followed by the actual finale at 10:00 p.m., and the usual Live After Show at 10:30 p.m.

I can't wait to settle in for three hours of "Hills" drama! Until then, check out these pics from the final episode and then let us know what you really want to happen.

    • Demi Lovato exits her hotel in NYC and heads to the "Good Morning America" studio in Times Square. - Jose Perez/Splash NewsLife is good -- but super busy for Demi Lovato! The 16-year-old Disney star recently performed for Malia and Sasha Obama at the Kids Inaugural Concert in Washington D.C., and now she's gearing up for the launch of her new Disney show, "Sonny With a Chance," which premieres on Sunday, February 8.

The young actress stopped by "Good Morning America" on Thursday morning to promote the program, which she describes as being "about a girl named Sonny who gets to be on her favorite sketch comedy show. She's from Wisconsin and it's kind of interesting to see all the obstacles [that she faces] as she tries to adapt to her life in Hollywood."

Demi is also writing a new album and is planning to go on tour thissummer. If that's not enough, she'll be shooting a sequel to "CampRock" with the Jonas Brothers this year. Lucky girl!

If you missed it, check out Demi's cute interview on "Good Morning America."

    • OMG! The first five minutes of the "Gossip Girl" season 2 premiere are on YouTube! If you're a fan of the show you've gotta check it out. Even if you don't watch the show you've gotta check it out. I bet you'll get hooked and will tune in to see the full season premiere on Monday, September 1.

After a quickie recap of season 1, the clip launches right in to what the students of Constance Billard and St. Jude's have been up to all summer long while hanging in the Hamptons, natch. Based on the first five minutes I think it's safe to say that the Upper East Side teens haven't cleaned up their act one bit.

    • ‘Daddy’s Girls’

I'm easily sucked into reality programming but am proud to say that I did NOT tune in to "Bromance" the other night! One MTV show that I'm not ashamed to admit I view regularly is "Run's House." (Since it's been on for five seasons, I'm apparently not the only one who's watching.) Joseph "Run" Simmons and his wife Justine have their hands full with Vanessa, Angela, JoJo, Diggy, Russy, and baby Miley, but they do their best to keep the family together and grounded.

Okay, Rev Run's kids are rather spoiled thanks to the fact that he's hip-hop royalty. His daughters Vanessa and Angela would never have been able to start their own hideous shoe line (Pastry) if their dad wasn't one of the founding members of Run-DMC and their uncle, Russell Simmons, wasn't the most influential mogul in hip-hop. Fortunately, both Run and Uncle Russell remind them of that fact quite often and try to instill in all of Run's children the importance of making it on their own.
