    • Happy 19th Birthday Joe!

Joe Jonas makes all the girls swoon while performing at the Apple Store in Soho, NY. - Scott Gries/GettyImages.com Guess who's birthday it is? That's right ... Joe Jonas! The "Camp Rock" hottie turns the big 1-9 today. Joe actually has a lot to celebrate this week. Not only is he about to rack up some serious gifts, but he and his brothers, Nick and Kevin, just released their highly-anticipated new album, "A Little Bit Longer," on Tuesday.

The record is poised to make a significant mark on the Billboard charts -- it might even open at no. 1! Now that would be worthy of a huge party. We haven't heard the whole album yet, but the single "Burnin' Up" is definitely one of summer's hottest songs. It's almost as hot as Joe, but not quite!

    • Jessica Szohr is one lucky girl. Not only does she star on "Gossip Girl," but she dates her costar Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) in real life! - Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage.comTeen Vogue caught up with Vanessa Abrams ... er ... Jessica Szohr to get her take on what high school was really like for this "Gossip Girl."

Was your high school experience anything like what the kids go through on "Gossip Girl"?
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. I didn't have champagne at prom and definitely didn't carry expensive handbags in high school!

      Did you play any sports?
I was a cheerleader, but I didn't do it that much in high school.

If Vanessa were a friend of yours, what advice would you want to give her for dealing with boy drama?
I would tell her not to change herself for anyone. In high school that can be hard!

What one thing do you wish you had more time to do?
My schedule can be hectic, so I'm always trying to find time to see my friends and family. The past couple of years have been such a whirlwind, so it is important to just stop for a moment and take it all in!

What do you do when you're not working?
When I'm filming "Gossip Girl" I love to just get out and

With the release of "High School Musical 3" only a few months away, the stars of the franchise are popping up everywhere these days! One particular promotion that's receiving a lot of attention is a spread in the September issue of Elle magazine that features Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale in a fashion nod to the 1978 classic film "Grease." Check out a behind-the-scenes video of their photo shoot:

Those are some hot outfits, huh? I actually think Zac, Van, and the Tis can pull off the ensembles without looking silly. Don't get me wrong; I'm not suggesting that the three suddenly be cast in a remake of the film that originally starred Zac's "Hairspray" costar John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, and Stockard Channing. However, the "HSM" kids can actually sing, dance, and act. Right? Anyway, I'll make sure to keep you posted if I hear of anything! Until then, prepare yourself to see a lot more of these kids in the coming months. The mania has barely begun.

    • Hanging out at ‘The American Mall’

MTV's musical soulmates Joey (Rob Mayes) and Ally (Nina Dobrev) - Fred Hayes/MTVA couple of weekends ago I attended the red carpet premiere of MTV's "The American Mall," a TV movie musical from the creators of "High School Musical" that's supposed to be a more "mature" version of Disney's wildly popular franchise.

Set entirely at a typical mall that's always been the ultimate hangout for teens, "The American Mall" tells the story of Ally (Nina Dobrev), an aspiring musician who helps run her mom's music shop. It's at the mall that she meets her musical soulmate Joey (Rob Mayes), a wannabe rocker moonlighting as the mall's night janitor to try to earn enough money to buy back the band equipment he has lost, and her arch-nemesis Madison (Autumn Reeser), the mall owner's spoiled daughter who is determined to get what she wants even if it means ruining Ally and Joey's musical dreams. Get a sneak peek of the movie below:

While this ain't no "High School Musical" (nothing can and will ever top "HSM"), I enjoyed the movie's singing, dancing, and overall moral message

For all you Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas fans out there looking to expand your memorabilia collections, Disney-Hyperion has released a new book chronicling their music tour!

The Jonas Brothers celebrate the launch of their new book: "Burning Up: On Tour With the Jonas Brothers." - Charley Gallay/GettyImages.com

The brothers celebrated the launch of "Burning Up: On Tour With the Jonas Brothers" at the swanky Sunset Tower Hotel Monday night, where they toasted with Burning Up mocktails consisting of Red Bull, cranberry, and orange juice.

"Burning Up" chronicles the Jonases last year and a half on the road. The scrapbook contains personal photos of the brothers as well as fun tidbits, like their favorite gadgets. Nick and Kevin are apparently addicted to their BlackBerrys, while Joe can't go anywhere without his comb!

Of the book's 200 photographs, the Jonases' favorite shots are Polaroids taken by Joe himself. Personally, I want to see what Joe's hair is like before he gets it all flat-ironed and manscaped. And do they really wear those tight pants when they're just lounging around?

    • Hello patient fans of "90210!" This is Michael Steger. I play the role of Navid Shirazi, head of the Blaze News at West Beverly. YEAH! As news editor, I have one of the most coveted positions. If you recall from the original series, so did Andrea Zuckerman (Gabrielle Carteris) and Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestley). You can say I'm following in their footsteps a bit, although my character is endowed with a life of leisure, due to his dad's entertainment empire.

In the 1990s, Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestley) was the editor of the Beverly Blaze. - Paramount Home EntertainmentNow Navid Shirazi (Michael Steger) heads up the Blaze News, an "Access Hollywood" type program run out of West Beverly High. - Patrick Ecclesine/The CW

Without revealing too much of the storyline (Sachs/Judah Productions have a tight leash on us!), I'll try to fill you in on what I can. Navid is very much trying to be a friend to all. He wants to be "in" with all the kids at school because connections are everything when you're telling a story. One connection I'm thrilled to be making is when Kelly Taylor herself (Jennie Garth) comes back to West Beverly as our guidance counselor.

Navid's lifestyle is that of a filthy rich kid looking to make some sense out of his life. He

    • On Thursday, July 31, "America's Best Dance Crew" welcomes hip hop superstar Missy Elliott. The six-time Grammy Award winner will be premiering her dance routine to "Shake Your Pom Pom," a song from her new album "Block Party," with the top four remaining crews joining her onstage. After the opening number, Missy will kick back and enjoy the show alongside judges Shane Sparks, JC Chasez, and Lil' Mama.

For this week's challenge, the crews will be given a popular Missy Elliott tune to dance to. In addition, they will be asked to emulate a challenging piece of choreography from their assigned song's music video. Hi-Hat, Missy's choreographer and collaborator, will lend a helping hand to the crews offering tips and advice on how to add that "Misdemeanor" quality to their dance routines.

Since Missy is notorious for her groundbreaking videos and innovative choreography, it's no surprise that the crews were excited when I informed them about their surprise guest right before the Tuesday

    • Rumer Has It

Will Rumer Willis still be a redhead at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards? - Michael Buckner/GettyImages.comCelebrity websites regularly knock Rumer Willis, saying her only claim to fame is being the celebuspawn of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. But come January, she'll have her moment in the spotlight, or at least slightly behind and to the right of it.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced last week that Rumer will be Miss Golden Globe 2009. Her very important task? Escorting the presenters and winners off the stage.

The title is bestowed each year to the offspring of an established actor. Former Miss Golden Globes that have gone on to have successful acting careers include Melanie Griffith and Laura Dern. There even is the occasional Mr. Golden Globe -- Freddie Prinze Jr. held the title in 1996.

Rumer was supposed to be Miss Golden Globes 2008, but the event was canceled last minute due to a strike by the Writer's Guild of America.

At least the 20-year-old aspiring actress is working on her career, unlike say ... Courtenay Semel, and actually has a few acting credits to her

    • Math Rocks!

It's back to school time! Whether you love it or hate it, one of the best things about returning to the classroom is getting new school supplies. This year you'll want to put the TI-Nspire graphing calculator on your shopping list, which should make math class a little easier. Okay, so it won't guarantee that you'll ace algebra and physics, but it may help you develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for math and science in general.

Even the Jonas Brothers have a TI-Nspire graphing calculator. - WireImage.com

Texas Instruments showed off the latest version of the calculator last month at the Teen Choice Awards Celebrity Retreat as part of their "Math Rocks" campaign. Stars like the Jonas Brothers, David Archuleta, and more went crazy for the gadget. Brenda Song ("The Suite Life of Zack and Cody") was so geeked she admitted, "I was such a dork in math. TI was my friend!"

Even if you're not a dork, it's hard not to like this sleek blue and white calculator. It has so many cool features (two interchangeable keybads, the ability to save your work, etc.)

    • Zac Goes Down Under

Taylor Swift and Zac Efron make quite the cute couple, but they're not together! - Don Arnold/WireImage.comG'day Zac!

The "HSM" hottie was in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday to promote his new film "17 Again." In the comedy, which opens in the U.S. next month, Zac plays the teenaged version of Matthew Perry. A freak accident de-ages him from 37 to -- yep, you guessed it -- 17.

Zac brought out hundreds of screaming fans, but it was Taylor Swift's red carpet arrival  that left tongues wagging. You see, Taylor doesn't appear in the movie. She's not even on the soundtrack to my knowledge! She just happens to be in Australia touring and promoting her album "Fearless" and decided to drop in at the premiere.

The country cutie is definitely "fearless" for posing with a spoken-for man! Taylor and Zac look good together, but I'm sure Vanessa Hudgens will have none of that!

Check out the trailer for "17 Again":
