Vanessa Hudgens reveals some surprising secrets about herself in the May issue of SELF magazine. - Robert Erdmann/SELFAlthough Vanessa Hudgens became a star thanks to "High School Musical," the 20-year-old says that she is ready to move on in the May issue of SELF. "I have the opportunity to almost start all over," she notes. For example, this summer Vanessa will appear in "Bandslam" playing a character much darker than HSM's Gabriella Montez. The actress makes a few more revelations in SELF -- 25 to be exact -- such as: 

1. "I have really strong legs. I inherited them from my dad, who has tree stumps for legs, basically. I've got big calves that look good. When I wear heels, it looks like I've worked out my legs a lot, which is why I love them. I also have a big, big big toe. I call it my goat toe. I can climb anything."

2. "My biggest splurge was a purse from Louis Vuitton. Ashley Tisdale [from HSM] and I each got one in different colors when we were on tour in Mexico. We call it our friendship purse. I don't want to say how much it cost. I don't like revisiting that place."

You may recognize the 26-year-old Washington native from "The O.C.," where he played bad boy surfer Kevin Volchok. Cam also showed off his martial arts skills (and six-pack abs) opposite Sean Faris in the 2008 action flick "Never Back Down."

Cam's buff bod isn't lost on the "Twilight" producers, who have him shirtless on promotional billboards and throughout the film. The actor's athleticism helped him in his role as James, a merciless vampire who hunts humans for sport.

Although James and Edward (Robert Pattinson) clash over Bella (Kristen Stewart), whom James has chosen as his prey, fortunately, Cam isn't as evil in real-life. In fact, he's downright adorable. Check out this interview with "Access Hollywood," where he works his charms on Shaun Robinson.

While my boyfriend focused on the action taking place on the court (the Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns 115-110), I spent a lot of time searching the crowd for celebrities. Right off the bat, I spotted Amanda Bynes sitting courtside with her new beau, baseball player Doug Reinhardt. If you recall, Reinhardt briefly dated Lauren Conrad of "The Hills."

Anyway, while the lovebirds have been spending a lot of time together lately, don't expect to see the 22-year-old star of "Hairspray" walking down the aisle any time soon. In the January issue of Cosmopolitan, Bynes declares, "I never want to get married. I feel trapped with the idea of marriage. How can you really be with someone forever? I'd get bored! As I get older, I don't settle. I'd rather tell somebody, 'This is what I want -- take it or leave it.'"

While voting is a right an incredible privilege, some people seem to view it as a hassle. Hayden Panettiere wants to change that notion.

The "Heroes" hottie has joined forces with Declare Yourself, a nonpartisan campaign, to encourage young people to register and vote. Last night the 19-year-old starlet hosted Declare Yourself's Domino Effect bash at the Green Door in Los Angeles, where she was joined by other Hollywood stars such as Adrienne Bailon (The Cheetah Girls), Corbin Bleu ("High School Musical"), and Aubrey O'Day (Danity Kane).

"[Voting's] really, really easy and it gives you an amazing sense of an accomplishment," said Panettiere at the event. "There's nothing that makes you feel quite as adult." See what else she had to say on the red carpet:

I got to chat with the stars of "HSM3" during their whirlwind promotional trip around the world. Wonder what they were like? Zac Efron ("Troy") is so cute and has such piercing blue eyes that I was afraid if I stared at him too long my cheeks would turn red, I'd lose my ability to speak, and I might turn into a pathetic, drooling puddle of uselessness! Zac's on and off-screen love, Vanessa Hudgens ("Gabriella"), looked stunning in a hot pink dress (that called for double-sided tape) and hotel slippers. Both Zac and Van talked extensively about how difficult it was to learn the Viennese Waltz for the "Can I Have This Dance?" rooftop number, and the two lovebirds agreed that they couldn't have done it without each other.

In fact, the queen of the balance beam loves the show so much that she'll be appearing on Tuesday's mid-season finale! Shawn will play herself in the cameo role, where she's walking the halls of Grant High and bumps into sex-obsessed charmer Ricky (played by Daren Kagasoff). Will she fall for the flirtatious drummer's undeniable good looks?

I've been a fan of "Secret Life" since its premiere, so I'm psyched to see the 16-year-old gymnast on the show. Shawn represents the all-American girl next door and I think her Midwestern values fit right into a show about the consequences of teen pregnancy. Nice girl or not, I hope Shawn totally disses Ricky. Even though he's a hottie, I'd love to see the look on his face when a girl finally rejects him! The episode, directed by former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Jason Priestley, airs on Tuesday,

Miley Cyrus is set to perform at a special inaugural concert for kids in Washington, D.C. - Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage.comEveryone is excited about Barack Obama's Presidential Inauguration -- even young Hollywood! The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Bow Wow have all signed on to perform at a concert honoring military families called "Kids' Inaugural: We are the Future," which will air on the Disney Channel at 8 p.m ET/PT on Monday, January 19.

The event, which is set to take place at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., will be hosted by Mrs. Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden. I'm sure the Obama girls -- Malia (10) and Sasha (7) -- will also be in the house! Afterall, they are huge "Hannah Montana" fans. Billy Ray Cyrus, Keke Palmer, Usher, and Shaquille O'Neal are also scheduled to make appearances.

From magazine spreads to television appearances and, of course, a fanatic following online (thanks Larry Carroll!), it seems that "Twilight" is on everyone's brain. And with the midnight premiere of the year's most-talked about movie only hours away, it can't possibly get any better for Twilighters... until now.

A couple of weeks ago during their promotional tour, I got to sit down and talk with a handful of "Twilight" stars, as well as director Catherine Hardwick. It was such a surreal experience and probably one of the coolest things I've had the opportunity to do.

I first chatted with Catherine, who I thought might be a little intimidating, but she was totally down to earth. She had on at least a dozen different necklaces -- two had deer pendants on them symbolizing the opening scene of the movie. Catherine revealed to me that in the initial script she read for "Twilight," Bella was a track athlete and the story somehow ended with her on jet skis. I'm glad that idea was
