Remember when junior year actually lasted like three years on "Saved by the Bell"? That's not going to happen on "Glee"! Show creator Ryan Murphy confessed to Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Friday that next season will be the last for New Directions stars Rachel Berry, Finn Hudson, and others that fans have come to love.

"The thing that I wanted to do and the cast wanted to do, we didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years," Murphy said. "We really wanted it to be true to that experience. We thought it would be really cool if we were true to the timeline."
Just like a real high school, though, the teachers will stick around. "We've got Matt Morrison and Jane Lynch who will stay and be the male and female lynchpins of the series," Murphy explained.
