Emma Roberts talks to omg!. But one of the 20-year-old's most recent flicks, "The Art of Getting By," is more like a scene out of the book Catcher In the Rye than one from the Nickelodeon show, "Unfabulous," which made her famous. She plays Sally, a popular girl at her school who befriends another student (Freddie Highmore) who has conned his way through life up to this point. The two have some serious conversations and find that they have a lot more in common than they thought. Joe does some shopping. INFDaily.com
Jersey boy Joe Jonas sure did get his Canadian fix on Thursday. He kicked off his day by getting in some holiday shopping (or more likely, just adding to his own wardrobe based on this pic) at apparel and leather goods store Roots when he visited the shop's flagship store in Toronto with a pal … and walked out with his hands full.
In keeping with the retail theme, Joe later celebrated the opening of a new Calvin Klein store at Toronto's Fairview Mall. Apparently the 22-year-old singer is just as popular north of the border, as plenty of young female fans showed up to get a glimpse of the teen idol.Read More »from Joe Jonas Takes Canada
Dakota Fanning stays warm between takes on "Effie." Maurizio La Pira/Splash NewsWhile most of us can't help but think of Dakota Fanning as the little girl she once was in movies like "I Am Sam" and "War of the Worlds," she's definitely growing up -- and her roles are becoming more mature, too. In her latest project, "Effie," the 17-year-old stars as the title character, Effie Gray, a teen bride who -- get this -- is involved in a love triangle with her husband, an art critic played by Greg Wise, and another artist, played by Tom Sturridge.
Still, as the New York University freshman recently confessed, the movie is nothing compared to the adult material she's handled before, such as 2007's "Hounddog," which featured a controversial rape scene. "I think actually in films I've done more adult things in other ones than I have in this one," Fanning revealed to the Associated Press. "But this is my first time being a wife and all of that, which is actually kind of exciting and very fun."Read More »from Dakota Fanning Plays a Teen Bride

The happy couple is all smiles. Splash NewsOn the morning after their glam night at the 2011 American Music Awards in L.A. on Sunday, teen stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were snapped doing something much more ordinary -- leaving an IHOP in Encino, California, after filling up on breakfast. The couple, who held hands, had traded their Old Hollywood look featuring a dapper tux and slicked back hair for him and a sexy champagne Armani gown for her, for much more casual jeans and T-shirt ensembles.
And while neither of the two brought home any AMAs from the ceremony this year -- last year Justin was named the AMA Entertainer of the Year -- both Justin, 17, and Selena, 19, were reportedly in a good mood when they visited the eatery. A source who saw the two told Hollywood Life that they arrived about 11 a.m. and spent about an hour there.Read More »from Justin and Selena Grab Breakfast at IHOP
