Gomez covers Elle. (Carter Smith/ELLE)Justin Bieber is certainly a heartbreaker, but according to his girlfriend of over a year, Selena Gomez, he also has a soft, sweet side. But we already guessed that after he rented out the entire Staples Center in Los Angeles — which is big enough to house 20,000 people — in September so he and his gal pal could have a private romantic date and screen the Leonardo DiCaprio-Kate Winslet classic, "Titanic." In the July issue of Elle, Gomez reveals a little more about the memorable night. "If I'll share anything with you, it's that he really is a hopeless romantic. I had just mentioned it in the car — all I said is that I really want to see 'Titanic' again, and then…"

Everett CollectionWhen Miley Cyrus arrived on the set of her movie "The Last Song" in the summer of 2009, she ended up with a lot more than a non-Disney role. The then-16-year-old actress and singer, who was best known to tween girls and their parents as the star of "Hannah Montana," found more than someone to share the screen with in co-star Liam Hemsworth, an Australian actor who was at the time 19. On Wednesday, Cyrus, now 19, and Hemsworth, 22, announced they are engaged to be married, following a very public three-year relationship that hasn't always been perfect.Emma Watson stars in ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ trailer

Emma Watson is moving on. (Jason Merritt/Getty Images)As fans of the annual MTV Movie Awards would expect, Sunday's show featured awards for the latest "Twilight" movie (two this year), buzzy moments (Christian Bale teared up onstage following a video montage with the late Heath Ledger), and musical performances (fun.'s "We Are Young" opened the show). As has become the tradition, awards night also marked the premiere of the trailer for a much-anticipated new film. This time, it was one of Emma Watson's first post-"Harry Potter" projects: "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." Logan Lerman ("Percy Jackson") and Ezra Miller ("We Need to Talk About Kevin") star alongside Watson as a trio of misfit high school students. The three become best friends coming of age in the movie based on the 1999 Stephen Chbosky novel of the same name. The book's not exactly kiddie fare; The American Library Association named it to its list of the 10 most frequently challenged titles as recently as 2009. The reasons given most often are that it's "anti-family, [features] drugs, homosexuality, offensive language, religious viewpoint, sexually explicit, suicide, unsuited to age group."Justin Bieber performs on a balcony in Paris

Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and Lucy Hale plot. (ABC FAMILY/ERIC MCCANDLESS)When we last saw the impossibly attractive cast of ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars," the show's big mystery was solved when the identity of "A," who had long blackmailed the girls, was revealed. A series regular was also killed off the show. We won't spoil the surprise in case it's still on your DVR. But you'd better watch it soon, because the upcoming third season is about dealing with the fallout from both events, as well as finding out who else, if anyone, was involved in the "A" plot. To get a sneak peek of the new season, which premieres June 5, omg! paid a visit to the cast on the show's set in Burbank, California, while they were filming the seventh episode. Unfortunately, the group was tight-lipped about their latest adventures, but they did promise that this would be the series' darkest season yet, with the characters finding themselves in more physical danger. Troian Bellisario, 25, who plays Spencer, explained that "the show is going into new territory. We're definitely going deeper and darker into how twisted Rosewood is as a community." Shay Mitchell, the 25-year-old who portrays Emily, noted that fans should get ready to be shocked, even if they think they know what's coming based on the photos posted on the "Pretty Little Liars" Twitter account. "Let me just say that whatever we post online sometimes, these photos, maybe they're to trick you."Blake Lively: ‘Gossip Girl’ Is Not My Best Work

Blake Lively is ready to leave Gossip Girl behind. (Michael N. Todaro/FilmMagic)For the audience, watching "Gossip Girl" is like eating cotton candy — devoid of nutrition but oh-so delicious! Yes, we love it, but let's just say it's not wining any Emmy awards — or even nominations — anytime soon. Now Blake Lively, who's played Serena van der Woodsen, one of the show's leading ladies since it began in 2007, is acknowledging in a new interview that the teen sudser is not her finest performance. The 24-year-old, who's dating "The Proposal" star Ryan Reynolds, talks with Bullett magazine about her feelings heading into the show's sixth and final season. "I think the best way to describe it is like someone who really enjoyed high school, and is like, I'm a senior and I can't wait for the next thing!" Lively says. "'Gossip Girl' was so great, but what's the next challenge in life? Because, you know, six years is a long time. And as an actor who plays a caricature of myself on the show, I don't think I'd say, 'Watch 'Gossip Girl' for my best quality of work.' But I am very lucky to have had that experience."Miley Cyrus Hangs With Her Puppy By Day, Famous Family By Night

Benett/Getty Images)Fans got their first glimpse of former "High School Musical" star Zac Efron steaming up the screen in Nicholas Sparks' romantic drama "The Lucky One" in April, but as it turns out, that was just a warm-up for his sexy new role in the movie "The Paperboy." The film, directed by Lee Daniels, producer of Oscar-winning movies "Monster's Ball" and "Precious" and the director of "Precious," was screened at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday. Set in Florida in 1969, the movie features Efron as the younger brother of Matthew McConaughey, a journalist who's returned to his family home to investigate whether a man (played by John Cusack) was wrongly sent to death row. Actress Nicole Kidman plays the woman that Efron's character loves, although her character is obsessed with the inmate. She was described by one reviewer as "an oversexed Barbie."Molly Ringwald and Jon Cryer Disagree About Whether Duckie From ‘Pretty in Pink’ Was Gay

Valerie Macon/Getty ImagesAs diehard fans of the 1986 teen flick "Pretty in Pink" know, the movie was originally supposed to end with Molly Ringwald's other-side-of-the-tracks character, Andie, in the arms of her quirky friend Duckie, played by Jon Cryer. However, the story goes that early audiences disliked that ending so much that writer and producer John Hughes was forced to change it. The movie's actual ending features Andie and rich guy Blaine, played by Andrew McCarthy, as the ones kissing in the parking lot after the prom, while the song "If You Leave" plays in the background and the credits roll. Ringwald, who's now 44 and stars in ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," has often said she prefers Andie and Blaine together, and several times in the last few years she's gone as far as saying that Duckie was gay. On Monday, Ringwald explained her stance once again. "Duckie doesn't know he's gay," Ringwald told Out magazine. "I think he loves Andie in the way that [my gay best friend] always loved me." She added, "[The Andie and Duckie] ending fell so flat -- it bombed at all the screenings. I didn't realize it then -- I just knew that my character shouldn't end up with him, because we didn't have that sort of chemistry. If John [Hughes] was here now, and I could talk to him, I think that he would completely acknowledge that." Ringwald went on to say that Duckie wasn't the only gay character in Hughes' famous collection of '80s teen films. "John wrote a lot of gay characters," she revealed. "But it was something that we never talked about. I would say in just about every movie he did, he had a character that easily could have been gay." (Hughes died of a heart attack at 59 in 2009.)Miley Cyrus: Let’s Talk About Sex!
