This Snow White gallops on horses while wearing armor, and if she has to wear a dress, it's going to be dark. So as director Rupert Sanders explains, one young actress, known for her slightly rebellious attitude, was a perfect fit for the role: "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart. "[This Snow White's] not a damsel in distress relying on the handsome prince to save her," Sanders reveals to Elle in a new interview with Stewart, 22. "She's someone who bonds the men together to reclaim the kingdom. And Kristen was exactly what she personified: tough, independent, resilient."

In early April, she received a kidney transplant from her father, actor Edward James Hyland. "I have a second chance at life, not a lot of people get that," she tells the mag in her first interview about the transplant.

What's old is new again for Miley Cyrus, who has resurrected one of her former styles by bringing back her nose piercing! She's not the only person in the family sporting a new look though. Twentysomething actors, such as "Scream 4's" Emma Roberts, "Glee's" Chord Overstreet, and Hollywood offspring Rumer Willis, made the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood the place to be Wednesday night, as they toasted Nylon magazine's annual Young Hollywood Issue. Roberts and Overstreet, who are reportedly dating again after being broken up for three months earlier this year, went casual chic. The stylish Roberts, 21, donned a black-and-white striped cocktail dress by Rachel Zoe, with her hair in curls, while 23-year-old Overstreet opted for a tough black leather jacket and T-shirt over jeans. If Overstreet was in a particularly celebratory mood, it was because Wednesday marked the final day of filming for the third season of "Glee."

Jones), reportedly earning $180,000 per episode! But in a new interview with Teen Vogue, Cosgrove, now 19, admits that she can't help but feel torn about the role that made her famous and roles in more grown-up projects that might better reflect the young woman she's rapidly becoming. "It's weird when your biggest success is something that you're also trying to break out of," she explains to the magazine.
