Drita D’Avanzo: My Dog Has Napoleon Syndrome!

There is no doubt about it: Drita D'Avanzo is one tough cookie on "Mob Wives." She's not afraid to get in anyone's face, and she's not big on backing down. Well, her toy poodle seems to have the same feisty attitude. The only problem? Lucky is so tiny that a breeze would win in a showdown.

"My dog thinks she's 180 pounds and she's three pounds," the 35-year-old makeup artist tells omg!. "She has that Napoleon syndrome."

Lucky recently learned a lesson about her true size, when she came face-to-face with some neighborhood critters. "The squirrels almost jumped my dog the other day," D'Avanzo, a single mom, laughs. "She was barking and they were surrounding her. I thought — they are going to kill her. I was throwing rocks. I didn't know what to do."

So she offered some tough love to her prized pooch. "I was like: You know what? You better get inside because the squirrels are going to f--k you up in the yard and I'm going to be very embarrassed," she says.

Like the dog-squirrels faceoff, D'Avanzo is known for her onscreen battles with her "Mob Wives" co-stars. However, she says she never fights with her real-life best friends, who she calls "normal" and who never appear on the show. "People were under the assumption I have known them for a long time," she says of her reality TV co-stars Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano, Ramona Rizzo, and Carla Facciolo. "But when I grew up, I knew of them. Renee was my friend's older sister. Karen I knew for a year and a half. And Ramona I didn't know at all growing up. It's not like we all went to high school together."

She continues: "My friends, who I've known since I was 5 years old, call me up and say, 'Do people know we even exist?' They're all school teachers, and they wouldn't even come on the show. They're so normal it's not even funny. I don't think I've ever had an argument with a girlfriend of mine who I've known since I was 5. Never even had an argument! That's how easy I am to get along with."

While we're not sure all her "Mob Wives" co-stars would agree with that statement, who are we to argue? And we're certain little Lucky is on Team Drita as well. After all, D'Avanzo did save her little doggie from a mean gang of squirrels.
