On June 12, the "Red" singer took top honors at The Fragrance Foundation Awards and snagged the coveted Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award for her back-to-back successful launches of Wonderstruck and Wonderstruck Enchanted by Elizabeth Arden.
Swift, who looked stunning in a white, Grecian-inspired Emilio Pucci gown and Lorraine Schwartz baubles, sounded extremely honored by the recognition.
"My first fragrance, Wonderstruck, was all about a daydream, a fantasy. It was this romantic idea that we all have," the 23-year-old shared in her acceptance speech. "I think that beginning with a lyric was one of my favorite parts about [creating] it, because I love telling stories and building and adding pages as we go. This is a really nice page to add to that story."

She also told reporters that it may be "shameless" to promote her own products, but her new favorite scent is actually her soon-to-be-released third fragrance, Taylor by Taylor Swift.
Swifty wasn't the only pop star to bank a top-selling scent. Justin Bieber grabbed two awards, Women’s Consumer Choice Award and Popular Fragrance of the Year Women, for his potion, Girlfriend. Sadly, the Biebs wasn't on-hand to accept his prize, but his Beliebers were definitely in the crowd, including the evening's host, comedian Dana Carvey.
Carvey said he was definitely a Belieber, but told omg! that his favorite scent is actually whatever his wife wears. "I like more subtle, ironic, kind of witty scents … after a big Italian dinner, I kind of linger over the garbage disposal. I like smells that tell you you're place in the world."
"Nashville" star Connie Britton, who presented an award, says she enjoys a more fruity concoction. "I wear Calypso Mimosa all the time."
Meanwhile, "Gossip Girl" actress Jessica Szohr revealed her secret to smelling good. "My mom gave me my first bottle and used to tell me, spray it on the back of your neck. That's where everyone goes into hug you." She also dished that if she did make her own perfume, she'd go for a floral scent that is "fresh and springy."
But not everyone likes the smell of spring. Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese told omg! that when she’s creating a perfume – she has three already – she looks to her idols for inspiration. "I like to make iconic perfumes that are similar to my idols like Marlene Dietrich or Rita Hayworth, but not let it smell grandmother-y," she shared. "I won't have anything to do with fruity, sweetness, candy, little-girl fragrance. I want grown-up, sexy seductress."
Regardless of each star's personal scent preferences, funny guy Carvey had one thing right about the evening: It had the best-smelling crowd in award show history!
