Selena Gomez at SXSW (Michael Buckner/Getty Images)Selena Gomez showed up looking as stunning as ever in a brightly colored ensemble at the South by Southwest premiere of her new film "Spring Breakers" on Sunday night.
But, earlier in the weekend, did she send a subtle message to her very famous concert-cancelling ex through a video she posted on YouTube?
Gomez wowed the SXSW crowd in her Dolce & Gabbana dress, which was comprised of a high-waisted orange bottom paired with a floral crop top. The highly anticipated premiere was one of the hottest tickets at the film portion of the Austin, Texas, festival.
Gomez's co-stars, Ashley Benson, James Franco, and Rachel Corine, along with director Harmony Korine, joined her, although Vanessa Hudgens wasn't able to make it because she was sick and stayed in Los Angeles. Benson surprised fans by showcasing her dramatic new brunette 'do, which she had been seen sporting around L.A. towards the end of last week.
According to E!'s Marc Malkin, Gomez was joined by friends, cousins, and even her grandparents in Austin, but, thankfully, her grandparents didn't stay for the screening of the controversial film. All of the film's stars then headed out to The Ranch bar for the after party, where the staff was dressed like the characters from the film.

Speaking of dreams, Gomez posted a dreamy, fun video of a minute-long dance routine on her YouTube page on Saturday… but was it intended as a nightmarish message to her ex, Justin Bieber? In the clip choreographed by Charity Lynne Baroni, the former "Wizards of Waverly Place" star and a few of her friends dance to the song "Everybody Knows (Your Boyfriend Is a Douchebag)" by Philly-born singer Dustin Tavella.
"Me and my girls just doin what we do...dancin! haha...All fun!
Big thanks to @DustinTavella for making such a sick anthem! And to @ChaeLynne for her amazing choreography : )," Gomez wrote in a caption accompanying the video, which has been viewed almost half a million times in just two days.
Five friends join the singer in the video, including Baroni, Samantha Raye Droke, "Secret Life of the American Teenager" star Francia Raisa, Laura Quinn, and Ashley Cook. So, who knows, in theory the message could be a shout out to any of their exes.
Or, it could mean nothing at all. But hey, it's fun to speculate, right?
