How You Can Own Kim Kardashian’s Engagement Ring

In case you haven't heard enough Kardashian-Jenner news today, we have more!

Kim Kardashian's ex-husband Kris Humphries, 28, will be auctioning off the engagement ring that he gave the reality star in 2011 at Christie's auction house in NYC on October 15.

Last month, when a description of the items that would be up for bid in Christie's "Bright & Beautiful" jewelry sale was released, a company rep wouldn't say whether or not the bauble had been a part of one of pop culture's most infamous recent scandals. "We have a strict policy not to comment on any of our clients," the rep told omg! at the time.

Now, however, someone is talking. "I can confirm the lot up for auction on Tuesday at Christies is the property of Kris," a rep for Humphries said.

This is how Christie's described the big bling in a press release:

"An impressive rectangular cut I color diamond ring of 16.21 carats, by Lorraine Schwartz (illustrated right; estimate: $300,000 – 500,000), is being offered as the Property of a Gentleman with a portion of the proceeds to benefit a charity."

In case you're interested, we should mention that the buyer will be entitled to keep the ring for much longer than the 90 days of engagement and 72 days of marriage that Kardashian had it in her possession.
