Oprah Winfrey's career is larger than life, and now, so is her hair. The media mogul rocked a giant Afro wig on the cover of the September issue of O, The Oprah Magazine. And Oprah can't get enough of the lioness 'do!
Dubbed, "Wild Thang," the wig weighed 3.5 pounds ("the size of a small Chihuahua," according to the mag)! It came in its own pink carrying case wrapped in bubble wrap, and, as O creative director Adam Glassman said, made Oprah look like "Chaka Khan and Diana Ross combined."
Oprah was ecstatic about the Afro that her stylist Andre Walker borrowed from "The Voice" stylist Kim Kimble. Oprah rocked it with a headband designed by Deepa Gurnani. She even changed her profile picture on Facebook to an image of the September magazine cover photo, writing, "Just revealed this new cover of O, The Oprah Magazine – one of my faves ever – Let's talk about HAIR! Love this cover so much, I'm making it my new profile pic!"
But this issue of the mag doesn't just touch on superficial hair problems. "I know for sure that your true crowning glory comes not from what's on your head but from what's in your heart," Oprah said.
