Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Call It Quits

Cue the last song: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially dunzo.

The 20-year-old twerking enthusiast and the 23-year-old "Hunger Games" hunk have broken their year-long engagement, reps for both stars confirmed to omg!.

The ex-couple first met on the set of the 2010 Nicholas Sparks tearjerker "The Last Song."

After their May 2012 engagement, Cyrus couldn't contain her happiness. "Life is beautiful," she tweeted on June 6. "I love you more today than yesterday but I love you less today than I will tomorrow…."

Unfortunately, their tomorrows proved rocky.

Cyrus and Hemsworth were last spotted together on August 8 when the "Wrecking Ball" singer walked the "Paranoia" red carpet with her beau.

However, despite smiling for the cameras, sources tell omg! the couple has "basically been estranged for months."

Liam was spotted on Saturday having a boys' night out in Las Vegas following the Mayweather/Canelo fight.

"He was just having fun with his friends," one guest at the boxing match tells omg!. "He didn't seem upset or anything."

A week earlier, Liam was also in good spirits partying at the Toronto International Film Festival alongside brothers Chris and Luke Hemsworth.

Meanwhile, Miley has also seemed to be doing just fine, taking her twerkfest global while promoting her upcoming album "Bangerz."

Reports that Cyrus and Hemsworth's relationship was on the rocks first surfaced in late February after the "Catching Fire" actor was spotted leaving a pre-Oscars party with January Jones.

Liam then flew home to Australia for three weeks to take time apart from Miley, who was spotted running around L.A. without her 3.5-carat engagement ring.

In April, Miley and Liam reconciled, but what followed was a tumultuous few months. Insiders close to the couple tell omg! that Miley and Liam were constantly on-off despite living together in Miley's home in Toluca Lake, California.

"Their relationship status pretty much changed daily," one pal tells omg!.

Sightings of the couple were few and far between over the summer.

Before Miley and Liam's "Paranoia" date night, the couple was only photographed together twice. Once in June, arm in arm at the movies, and again in Canada in early July.

Infidelity rumors have continued to plague Hemsworth over the last couple of weeks (including a much-reported dalliance with "Mad Men" star Jones), which E! News suggests is why Miley called off the engagement. Liam's rep called the reports "tabloid fiction."

We had a hint that things might really be over for the couple this weekend, because while Liam was living it up at the main event in Sin City, Miley unfollowed him on Twitter.

That's when you know it's serious, kids.
