The Latest on Amanda Bynes’s Hospitalization

It appears as if Amanda Bynes is finally on track to getting the help she needs.

After being placed on an involuntary psych hold on Monday, the 27-year-old's parents are stepping in. Lynn Organ and Rick Bynes will be in court on Friday seeking that a temporary conservatorship be established to give them control over their daughter's financial and personal affairs, according to E! News. This is what happened to Britney Spears as well when she was placed on a 5150 hold in January 2008.

A lawyer for Bynes would not comment when omg! reached out for confirmation.

Amanda's parents were photographed on Tuesday leaving the hospital where medical professionals have been evaluating their daughter.

On Monday, Bynes was taken for psychiatric evaluation after allegedly setting a fire in the driveway of a stranger's house in an L.A. suburb.

"There are no criminal charges at this time," Captain Don Aguilara from the Ventura County Sheriff's department tells omg!. "It'll be up to investigators to see if the circumstances of this incident meet the elements of a crime in order to press charges in the future, but that doesn't seem to be the case here."

In other Bynes news, it's safe to say Ashley Benson will soon be added to Amanda's "ugly" list.

The "Pretty Little Liars" star a photo on Instagram with the caption: "Doing my Amanda bynes look this afternoon."

Needless to say, it sparked quite the controversy on social media. Some found it extremely inappropriate given that Amanda is currently being evaluated for psych issues, while others found the pic to be humorous.

Benson apologized on Thursday:
