Kelly Clarkson: I’m ‘So Over’ My Wedding … But I Dig the Mom Thing!

Is Kelly Clarkson a bridezilla? Hardly!

When calling into "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" on Tuesday, Clarkson admitted that she's sick of planning her wedding to fiancé Brandon Blackstock.

“It’s two months away. It’s end of October. I’m so over it," the 31-year-old singer revealed. "It’s so overwhelming. We’re just doing a lot — touring and the wedding and the Christmas album, so I’m over the wedding part.”

Kelly and Blackstock — who happens to be Reba McEntire's stepson and her pal Blake Shelton's manager — got engaged in December 2012. ("The Voice" mentor is set to officiate their nuptials!).

While "wedding planner" may not be a title Clarkson enjoys, there is one new role the "Dark Side" singer has adapted to quite comfortably … stepmom!

"I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now … after being single for six years!" Kelly excitedly exclaimed. "We all live together and everything … it’s so different, but it’s perfect. They’re awesome and I actually really dig the mom thing … I am quick to go, 'I told you not to touch that!’… I am totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom."

Blackstock, 36, occasionally joins Clarkson on the road, and she joked that her beau sometimes feels like he might be cramping her lifestyle.

"He will get worried … he’s like, ‘Are you doing what you’d normally do? I don’t want to be that guy that comes out here [and keeps you].’ And I’m like, ‘I normally don’t do much. I’m not like some party rock star!’”
