The 28-year-old actress joked to omg! about why her hypnotizing, "Secret Garden"-like strapless dress by Mary Katrantzou was "the one" (or not).
"It was the only one that fitted," the actress deadpanned (while we said "yeah, right!"). "No! It really was!"
The actress — who is only at TIFF for about 24 hours — stars in the film "Can a Song Save Your Life?" alongside Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfeld, but despite her musical talents, she making plans for a singing career anytime soon.
"It was great and a really interesting experience … I'm quite terrifying, but it seemed to work alright," the newlywed told omg!.
So should we be adding a "slash" when discussing Keira Knightley, as in "actress/singer"?
"No!" she laughed. "I'm just a pretend singer, but that's alright!"
Knightley's co-star Adam Levine also attended the Grey Goose-sponsored bash at Patria (the actress sipped on a Canadian Crush), and "The Voice" mentor had quite the team to help him support his film.
The 34-year-old brought his Maroon 5 band mates along for the ride, and they couldn't have looked more proud of their lead singer. The group all sat together around Adam and chatted outside, appearing to have a great time.
The singer (now a bonafide singer/actor) held court on the patio, which eventually also hosted Harvey and Bob Weinsten.
The power producers sat next to Adam and happily talked with him for the first half of the evening.
