Kate Middleton Reportedly Considering Hypno-Birth

Looks like Kate Middleton will be a thoroughly modern princess … even as she gives birth.

A new report says the Duchess of Cambridge is looking into hypno-birthing – an experimental practice that aims to reduce anxiety – when she delivers the latest member of the Windsor Dynasty.

"Kate has researched various birthing methods. She wants it to be natural, so hypno-birthing is one option that appealed and she had been reading up on it and listening to CDs to get into the right frame of mind," a source told Italian tabloid Grazie.

Hypno-birthing’s philosophy is all about simplicity -- think of it as a Whole Foods-style birth plan as opposed to Target.

"The birthing body and the baby know just what to do. Hypno-birthing is designed to teach women to trust in Nature's way of birth and to relax and let their bodies do what is needed," one website described the process.

The report also says Kate will deliver the royal heir at Paddington Hospital in London, where her husband, Prince William, was born.

While the glowing Duchess is almost at the finish line, she stepped out on Thursday to christen a new fleet of Princess Cruise ships -- a chore done by William's beloved mother, Diana, in the ‘80s.

Rocking a chic overcoat and fascinator, Middleton looks ready to offer up that royal baby -- and soon.
