Kaley Cuoco Marries Ryan Sweeting

They do!

“Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco, 28, and her tennis player beau of six months, 26-year-old Ryan Sweeting, tied the knot at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch outside L.A. on New Year's Eve. The actress posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a strapless pink dress by Vera Wang and kissing her groom captioned, "Yep :) #thesweetings," early Wednesday.

The lovebirds had a whirlwind romance. They got engaged on Sept. 25 after just three months of dating and only a few days after they made their red carpet debut as a couple on the weekend of the 2013 Emmy Awards.

Cuoco explained when she was a guest on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in November that the two met through a “very close mutual friend" ... following a two-week romance the actress had with “Superman’s” Henry Cavill.

“I was just not in a good place to meet anyone,” Cuoco told DeGeneres. “I said, ‘I’m not ready. I’m taking time away from love for a while.’ I was very sad.”

Luckily, friends convinced Cuoco to meet Sweeting when he came to L.A. and sparks flew. She ended up taking care of him after he suffered an injury in a tennis match and, well, it led to love.

“I kind of nursed him back to health,” Cuoco revealed. “By day two, I was like, 'Oh my god.' It was so unbelievable. I said, ‘This is it; this is it.’”

At the time of her engagement, Cuoco asserted why she was so confident regarding a decision that might seem rash.

“From day one I just knew immediately and it’s been magic,” she told "Entertainment Tonight." “We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met.”

She added, “I kind of feel that I’ve known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us.”

The marriage is the first for both.
