Justin Bieber: Mr. Punctuality for Tuesday’s London Concert

After Monday night’s drama over the delayed start time at his concert, Justin Bieber really didn’t have a choice not to be punctual, did he?

Thankfully, he made the right choice, and landed on stage at The O2 a full two minutes early, according to the venue’s Twitter feed. We’ll second that “Phew” of theirs.

Just a few hours later, he tweeted that he was “Lovin London. #goodtimes,” a sunny 180 from the “worst birthday” and other frustrations he vented late last week.

On Monday, the 19-year-old arrived onstage significantly tardy – somewhere between two hours and 40 minutes later than was scheduled – and received boos from fans who were irritated and, in some cases, needing to head home (it was a school night, after all). Afterwards, he took to Twitter to apologize and try to set the record straight.

“Since i have been here it hasnt been easy with the press at times but I have loved it,” he tweeted on Tuesday. “so let me say this… last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10.. so... i was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset.”

Later he added, “Im not okay with things being exaggerated.”

According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, Bieber celebrated his timeliness Tuesday night at a private residence in Mayfair. Around 4 a.m., he returned to his central London hotel with a mysterious brunette reportedly arriving right behind him in a separate vehicle.

It’s worth noting that this young lady is not Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke, with whom the Biebs has been seen throughout his time in England.
