Johnny Depp is a jack of all trades when it comes to acting. But when it came to doing his own horseback-riding stunts on the set of his new flick, things got a little tricky.
The “Pirates” actor stopped by “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Thursday and dished about how he narrowly avoided being smashed in the face by a horse on the set of the upcoming “The Lone Ranger” – in which he plays Tonto, a Native American spirit warrior. So where were his stunt men? That answer, Johnny says, still remains a mystery.
Check out this vid to hear what the actor had to do to avoid being “horrifically mangled.”
