This apple certainly didn't fall far from mom's tree.
Ireland Baldwin, the 17-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basigner, has signed a contract with IMG Models.
"Officially working for @TwoManagement and @IMGModels! I'm blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK," she tweeted to share her excitement.
At IMG, Baldwin joins the ranks of Kate Moss and Tyra Banks, to name a few.
Basinger first signed with modeling agency Ford Models when she was only 16 years old. Still, standing at 6-foot-2, Ireland towers over her mother, who is only 5-foot-7.
People first began to pay attention to Ireland in 2007 after her father left her a voicemail that was leaked to the press, calling her a "rude, thoughtless little pig." He later apologized for the incident, which was fuelled by ongoing an custody battle between him and Basinger.
Ireland will get the chance to be a big sister later this year when her father and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, welcome their first child together. The couple announced last week that they are expecting a baby girl.
