Home Intruder Does Not Find Love Trying to Break Into Rihanna’s Home

An intruder was taken into custody by police outside of a home near Rihanna’s in Los Angeles’ swanky Pacific Palisades neighborhood on Thursday night. The problem is, the guy didn’t even have the right house!

“It was not her home,” an LAPD spokesperson confirms to omg!. “It was a home in close proximity to hers. It appears that the individual thought he was at the singer’s home, when indeed it was another residence. The individual is now in custody.”

The suspect, Steveland Barrow, 31, was arrested on the premises at around 9 PM Thursday, and is being charged with one felony count of burglary while being held at Valley Jail in Van Nuys with a bail amount set of $58,134.

TMZ first reported the news and according to the site, “The suspect has told police someone emailed him instructions on how to get into the home ... so he rolled over to the property and followed the directions … the man was able to get inside the home ... where he allegedly snooped around for a while before neighbors noticed something was up.”

Maybe Barrow was just trying to deliver a birthday gift? The “Stay” singer turned 25 on Wednesday and has been celebrating all week by whooping it up in Hawaii and posting up a storm on Instagram, documenting her adventures.
