Heather Graham’s NYC Penthouse Catches Fire

Heather Graham’s New York City apartment went up in flames over the weekend.

The 42-year-old actress best known for her roles in “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me” and “Boogie Nights” was not at home on Saturday night when her penthouse, located in the Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan, caught fire. The blaze started at approximately 10 p.m. and took about 45 minutes to extinguish.

"It was candles that maybe caught some clothes that were left near the tub," FDNY Chief John Bley told The New York Post. However, the official cause of the fire is still being determined.

Graham “rushed back” to the 12th floor apartment after firefighters had already snuffed out the blaze, reported the paper. Neither the actress – nor anyone else – was injured.

Graham, who will next be seen in the movie “The Hangover Part III this summer, isn’t the only famous resident in the building. “Scrubs” alum Zach Braff lives one floor below the actress in a 2,600-square-foot loft he purchased for $3.2 million in 2007. While the actor has been active on social media since the blaze – and even posted a photo of himself taking a power nap just hours before the fire – he has not said anything about it or mentioned whether his apartment had smoke or water damage.
