Diddy’s Big Revelation to Ellen DeGeneres: He Was a Bed-Wetter
Now we know why they called him P. Diddy.
On the “Ellen” show on Friday to promote his new AQUAhydrate bottled water, the rap mogul revealed a big childhood secret: he was a bed-wetter.
But it wasn’t water that did him in … it was a sugary nightcap.

Admitting that he never drank water when he was young, Diddy, born Sean Combs, continued, "One thing I want to say is, I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid. I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter."
As the audience laughed nervously, Diddy went on. “Yes, I'm confessing that I used to be a bed wetter. So, I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day that I had a sleepover and I didn't wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life. It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed."
Nowadays as an adult, Diddy, 43, uses water to cure a different problem: his hangovers. The Ciroc vodka spokesperson (he also gets 50% of the profits) explained that he drinks the clear liquor at night, and then remedies that with, you guessed it, his very own performance water AQUAhydrate, which he co-owns with Mark Wahlberg.
