Brandy Engaged to Music Exec Ryan Press
The boy is hers!
R&B singer Brandy is engaged to music executive Ryan Press, according to Us Weekly. It’s the first marriage for the popular singer, who has a 10-year-old daughter, Sy’rai, with ex boyfriend Robert Smith.
A spokesperson for Brandy confirmed her engagement to "omg! Insider." LoveBScott.com first reported the engagement news.
According to a source for Us Weekly, “"They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right."
Back in July, Brandy spoke with “The Insider’s” Kevin Frazier about her relationship with Press.
“Are you in love again?” Frazier asked her.
“ Yes I am in love, yes it's a good thing,” she replied.
“Where does that go?”
“If he acts right, it goes very far… and if he acts wrong, then it ends here today,” she replied playfully, laughing afterwards.
The former “America’s Got Talent” judge has a big 2013 coming up. Following the release of her sixth studio album last October, she shared a message on Christmas Day with fans about her plans for the future. While she’s currently in Atlanta shooting her BET TV show “The Game,” the second single from her latest album, “Two Eleven,” will be released in January. The new season of “The Game” premieres in March, followed by the big-screen premiere of her new Tyler Perry movie, “Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.”
The singer also gifted her fans with a present this week – a new track, “How High,” which didn’t make the tracklist for hew latest album.
