Beyoncé Releases New Footage From Super Bowl Halftime Rehearsal

Did Beyoncé Knowles just give fans the first clue to her set list for Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime performance?

Knowles, 31, just posted a new behind the scenes rehearsal video that shows her back up singers belting out “End of Time,” from her 2011 album, 4. Beyonce — or “The Boss” as her all-female band refers to her — seems to be pleased with the rendition, giving them a big smile of approval.

At a press conference Thursday in New Orleans, Jay-Z’s wife played coy as to what songs would make it in her halftime show. “It’s like picking between your favorite children,” she told reporters.

This was the same press conference at which Knowles wowed the crowd with a very live rendition of the National Anthem. The superstar later admitted she did sing with a backing track during the Presidential Inauguration.

“I am a perfectionist and one thing about me, I practice until my feet bleed. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra, it was a live television show," Knowles explained about her decision. "Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check I did not feel comfortable taking the risk."

But there will be no backing track come Sunday.

“I will absolutely be singing live. I am well rehearsed and I will absolutely be singing live. It’s what I was born to do, what I was born for,” Beyoncé said. “I’ve had a 16-year career and all of the things I’ve done have prepared me for this. I’m ready.”
