Let's hear it for the "Girls!" The highly acclaimed comedy won the prize Sunday night for best comedy series, and the show's creator, director, and star Lena Dunham was the surprise winner of the night, taking home the gold for best TV comedy actress. The 26-year-old wunderkind beat out top competition including Zooey Deschanel, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who won the Emmy in September for her lead role in the series "Veep." As it happened, the Globes fell on the same night the second season of "Girls" premiered on HBO. Clearly, these "Girls" are making a name for themselves! Check out who Lena thanked in her inspiring acceptance speech!
