  • Anderson Cooper (WireImage for GLAAD)The swatting trend -- or, the placing of emergency calls to initiate police crisis response -- has moved east, as Anderson Cooper is reportedly the latest victim.

According to the New York Post, the CNN anchor, 45, was not home last month when police from the Southampton police department rushed to his home in Quogue, New York, following a 911 call that a man had just shot his wife at the location. When they arrived at the Hamptons home, there was no sign of any shooting.

The police reportedly have no suspects at this time.

  • "2 Broke Girls" star Kat Dennings went on "Chelsea Lately" Monday night and dished about what happened when rapper Drake tweeted to her a while back. She also revealed that his fans were much less than thrilled.

She said, "When I got home I had like 50,000 new followers out of nowhere, and then I looked at my adds and they were like, '****You Kat Dennings' like, 'You can't take Drake from me, he's mine.' I was like, I'm not trying to take Drake from you."

The brunette bombshell admitted she met Drake when she was just 19 while she was shooting an indie film in Toronto, and when she finally caught on to what happened on Twitter, they sparked a social media friendship and ended up going to dinner.

While this is the first time the actress has talked about Drake openly in an interview, the rapper has mentioned her in the past. In October 2011, Drake told Elle magazine about his birthday plans and the one special lady he hoped would attend! "I'm gonna invite Kat Dennings. I'm in love with her. She’s really funny. But I think she’s dating someone," he said.

Check out this vid to see how the dinner went for Kat and Drake.

Here's the thing about the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala: People sometimes wear costumes.

And with a theme of "Punk: Chaos to Couture," the looks were bound to go in an especially costume-y direction. That worked out pretty well for some (Madonna, we're looking at you). For others, not so much.

When it came to makeup, several stars seemed to have missed a very important memo: Halloween is in October. This is May.

Not sure how that message could've gotten lost in the mail, but for stars like Ginnifer Goodwin and Lily Collins, it did. It really did.

Collins, who is known for her strong brow, went even stronger and paired them with some serious "Black Swan"-like shadow. Meanwhile, Goodwin went so dark from the edge of her eyelid up to her brow, it was frighteningly difficult to tell hair from skin.

  • Ellen DeGeneres (Getty Images)The wildfires ripping through Ventura County, California, hit close to home -- quite literally -- for Ellen DeGeneres.

On Tuesday's "Ellen DeGeneres Show," the 55-year-old talk show host took a few minutes for serious conversation, specifically to thank the firefighters who worked to contain the blaze, which spread to more than 28,000 acres and threatened 4,000 homes, including her own ranch in Hidden Valley. The comedian and her wife Portia de Rossi's sprawling property, which was featured in the May issue of Elle Décor, was in the path of fire, but was ultimately saved thanks to the massive rescue efforts.

"I was watching our house on the news," said DeGeneres, who evacuated the horses from the multi-structure ranch but had a caretaker there overseeing the property. "The helicopter was above our house. It’s just surreal to be watching ... that’s our house."

She showed photos of the property with flames and

  • Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, and Gisele Bündchen (AP Photo/Getty Images)
No single ladies here! Just in time for Mother's Day, Working Mother released its list of the 50 Most Powerful Moms of 2013. While a few, slightly less famous faces snapped up the first four spots, fan faves Beyoncé, Gisele Bündchen, and Mariah Carey all made the top 10.

Beyoncé -- whose job description is aptly listed as "Singer, Actress, Mogul" -- came in fifth. Labeled as "arguably the hardest working mom in show biz," (which may or may not have rubbed Mariah the wrong way), Mrs. Carter landed this spot based on her achievements since the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy last year.

    It's a bird... it's a plane... it's Louis Bardo Bullock!

Sandra Bullock's adorable son, Louis, didn't let a rainy Los Angeles day get him down on Monday. Instead, he used the powers of Superman to will the clouds away. The 3-year-old cutie was spotted walking home from school with his mom in a Superman raincoat, complete with a cape, jeans and a pair of red sneakers.

  • Jessica Biel (Splash News)Jessica Biel looked ready to rock when she hit the red carpet at the punk-themed Met Gala -- and it had a lot to do with her fake nose ring.

The 31-year-old, who is known for being fairly conservative on the red carpet, wore a black Giambattista Valli creation, featuring a web-like pattern throughout, to Monday's star-studded event celebrating "Punk: Chaos to Couture." Unlike, say, Ginnifer Goodwin and Emmy Rossum, Biel barely wore any makeup and had her hair slicked back -- perhaps to draw attention to the highlight of her look: a faux septum piercing.

Mrs. Timberlake's silver nose ring was fairly subtle -- you had to be up close to really see it. Vogue U.K. went as far as to describe it as "discreet."

Biel wasn't the only celebrity to sport a fake piercing at the event, which was like a who's who of Hollywood with guests including from Beyoncé, Katie Holmes, Blake Lively, and Madonna. Model Karen Elson, 34, embraced the look when she hit the red carpet -- and she fully committed to it. Although she made a complete outfit change before hitting an afterparty, she

  • Khloe Kardashian (Redbook)

Khloe Kardashian gets candid in a new interview with Redbook about babies, her fertility troubles, and Kanye West.

"I do think my difficulty getting pregnant has helped a lot of women. Do I wish people would quit asking me about it 24/7? Yes, but I don’t regret it," the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star insists when asked about whether she regrets being so open about her experience. "I was 26 when that started, and I admit, I didn’t know a lot about my body. It was hard for me to understand what was happening because my mom had six kids and Kourtney got pregnant quickly."
