  • Justin Bieber had something special up his sleeve for his mom, Pattie Mallette, on Mother's Day: a sweet serenade.

    While the 19-year-old pop star performed to a sold-out crowd in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Sunday night, he surprised both the audience and his mom by bringing her up on stage and dedicating his popular song "One Less Lonely Girl" to her. (Cue the awwwws.)

    Just after the show, the singer took to Twitter to further express his love, writing, "Happy Mother's Day @PattieMellatte. Today U R my #OLLG. Love u." Pattie was, of course, equally touched by her son's thoughtful gestures and tweeted, "So yep … @JustinBieber surprised me for Mother's Day tonight & brought me out for OLLG! #VerySweet!" Very sweet, indeed! Good to see the Biebs hasn't forgotten where he came from.

  • Justin Timberlake has conquered music, film, and TV, so could politics be in his future? According to a new survey conducted by Public Policy Polling, respondents overwhelmingly chose Justin Timberlake as the musician they'd like to see in the Oval Office, with 34% of those polled choosing the 32-year-old crooner as a pick for prez! Well, he has proven that he looks pretty good in a suit and tie!

    Also high on the list, Adele (who’s British and can’t even be president!) and Beyonce, who were named as potential White House residents by 19% and 14% of those surveyed, respectively. One thing the divided political parties have in common: Their mutual hatred for Justin Bieber! Of all the artists mentioned in the poll of 571 voters, the Biebs was the only singer who is disliked by Democrats (54%), Republicans (56%) and Independents (56%) alike!

  • In case you haven't heard, Kellan Lutz is back on the market.

    The 28-year-old best known as one of those blood-thirsty Cullens from "Twilight" and his girlfriend of nearly two years, Australian actress Sharni Vinson, have reportedly called it quits. (His rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment.)

    But at the exact moment his relationship has ended, the actor's career is in overdrive. He'll play the ripped main character in 2014's "Hercules," and provide the voice of Tarzan in an upcoming adaptation of the jungle story. This month, he stars alongside Amber Heard and Brittany Snow in the satirical comedy "Syrup," which is currently available on pay-per-view and hits theaters June 1. "Syrup" is about a guy who has an idea for a new product that he thinks could earn him big bucks, but only if he trusts the villainous Sneaky Pete, who's played by Lutz.

  • Jennifer Aniston rocks 'The Rachel' (NBC)Inspiration comes from all sorts of places -- and in the case of Jennifer Aniston and her iconic "Friends" haircut, it came from Mary Jane.

    Chris McMillan, the wizard behind Aniston's coveted locks, admitted to being stoned in 1994 when he conceived the layered look that caused a sensation, better known as 'The Rachel.:

    "I’m 14 years sober, so I feel safe enough to say that," McMillan laughed to Women's Wear Daily. He didn't say if Jen, um, collaborated with him at the time.

    What they've definitely partnered up on is Living Proof, a hair care line that Aniston has a stake in. Life certainly hasn't been one perfect hair moment after the next for the future Mrs. Justin Theroux.

    "I'd only had mullets!" Aniston, 44, told our sister blog Shine of her pre-"Rachel" days.

  • Turns out, celebrities do read mean tweets about themselves! Jessica Simpson and a slew of other stars are calling out antagonistic tweets with a little help from "Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

    The late night TV show host introduced the fourth installment of his popular series, "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" Thursday night, and let's just say the results were hilarious.

    Some of the not-so-nice messages included one for Simpson, which read, "I already know when I get pregnant I'm going to pull a @JessicaSimpson and gain 598 pounds." Jessica Alba also took the opportunity to call out this nasty tweet, "I just saw @jessicaalba. If this was 2007 I'd be really excited."
